InstantPsychic
PRIVACY GUIDE

Private from a human advisor does not mean invisible to software.

Online reading services use the word private in very different ways. Before sharing a sensitive question, separate who personally reads it from which systems process it, what is saved, and what you can delete.

Read the privacy details

Start with the person on the other side

In a human marketplace, an advisor receives the question and creates the response. With InstantPsychic, no human psychic receives your question to interpret it; a fictional digital reader creates the response through software. That can reduce social pressure, but it is only one part of privacy.

Ask which systems process the reading

A message may pass through the website, application servers, a response provider, and—in a voice reading—audio and transcription services. Payment processors separately handle billing information. A responsible privacy explanation names these roles instead of implying that a digital reading touches no infrastructure.

InstantPsychic software providers may retain requests and responses for up to 30 days. Deleting saved history from an InstantPsychic account does not remove a provider copy that is still inside that limited retention period.

Saved history and required records are different

Conversation history can support continuity with the same reader. Account controls let customers export or delete conversation data saved by InstantPsychic. Payment and security records may need to remain separately for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations.

Use data minimization as your first control

A reflective question rarely needs a full legal name, address, employer, account number, medical document, or another person’s identifying information. Describe the behavior, uncertainty, emotion, or decision instead. If a detail would not materially improve the reflection, leave it out.

  • Use a display name or initials.
  • Do not paste private documents or credentials.
  • Avoid sharing another person’s sensitive information.
  • Review export and deletion controls before relying on saved continuity.

Treat absolute promises as a warning sign

Promises of perfect confidentiality, zero retention, or an impossible breach are too absolute for an online service unless a narrowly defined architecture and independent evidence genuinely support them. Look for specific retention periods, named controls, and honest limits instead.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you begin

Does an InstantPsychic human advisor read my question?

No. The reading is created by a fictional digital reader rather than handed to a human psychic for interpretation.

Does deleting history remove every provider copy immediately?

No. It removes the saved conversation data controlled by InstantPsychic, but providers may retain their processing copies for up to 30 days and required payment records remain separate.
